In honor of Black History Month, we're closing out this week by celebrating yet another phenomenal black woman poet who has uplifted our lives with the power of words. Our poet of this week is Audre Lorde, a poet, essayist, and feminist theorist. She proudly labeled herself "black, lesbian, mother, warrior, and poet," and we're here for it! She was a strong advocate for intersectionality and published essays and theories on the Black female experiences.
