gapmuse: Best of 2017 [+Video & Stunning Photos]

Can you believe it’s already that time of year when we peek back and take stock of our musings for the year? It seems like just the other day we were wishing you all a Happy New Year! I guess we just never get used to how time flies.

Personally, 2017 has been a year filled with more lows than highs. But like we always muse here on our blog, it’s better to focus and to be thankful for what’s going right in our lives than on what’s wrong with it. It’s the only way to pull through the curve balls that life throws at us and to come away triumphant.

Thank you for sharing in our best moments of 2017 gapmusers! 🙂

Here are our best moments of 2017 selected based on how many times you read our blog musings and liked, shared and commented on our Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest posts. Despite our challenges, we found our happy place, crushed stereotypes about girls (we love STEM!) run into bears (yes really!), discovered delicious recipes, enjoyed the outdoors in new ways, found people to inspire us with words, and much more.

Through it all, we were awed by our persistence, resilience, creativity, and above all, our courage.

Thank you for sticking with us for yet another year.  We hope that in addition to our musings, you too found things along the way to empower you. Here’s to wishing you a healthier and happier 2018.

Be inspired.

Thrive!

We know what you’re thinking, isn’t this type of stuff published at the start of the year when we’re all thinking about resolutions? Besides, if you’re like me, you’ve probably fallen off the wagon on a few of your goals already.  Mind you, one of those goals is very simple; go to bed earlier and sleep more. Easy right?
