Is it really the last session of the year? That was me asking in awe about the sign up date for my little one’s next ice skating session. It appears that every year I’m astonished at how quickly time goes by.
I figure I can’t be the only one surprised that summer is over (sob!), back to school is in full swing, Fall is well under way and I’m starting to freak out that I’ve yet to order Halloween costumes! Yikes!
It’s been a whirlwind past three months but we managed to squeeze in some blog musings (albeit not as many as we’d have liked) and to share some posts on our social media that resonated with you.
From discovering a majestic place that makes us happy and encouraging moms to give themselves the love and care they deserve, to finding new ways to enjoy the outdoors, and empowering girls to ask for what they want, we came away feeling fulfilled, energized, wiser, and ready to tackle the rest of the year.
In case you missed it, here are the musings that educated, inspired, and empowered us for the past 3 months:
1. Find Your Happy Place [+Stunning Photos & Video]
“I love Lake Tahoe,” my little one, 5 at the time, declared on the second day of our short vacation. It was a beautiful April spring morning in 2015. She was frolicking outside picking at the remnants of snow on the ground in our beautiful wooden cabin nicely tucked away in fir trees. Read on…
2. Why Every Mother Should Have a Life Outside of Her Children [Without Guilt]
It’s back to school again (can you believe it!) and you’re busy juggling your kids’ schedules, last minute shopping, transportation, lunches, and anything else that needs to happen for a successful school year. Some of you may be sending your kids to pre-k or kindergarten, some to elementary, while others to middle school or even high school. Read on…
3. 10 Reasons We Love Glampling [& You Will Too] + Beautiful Photography & Video
Do you love the outdoors? Do you love to wake up to the sights, sounds, and smells of Mother Nature while still enjoying the most basic amenities of your home? If you answered yes, then glamping might just be your fix. What’s glamping you ask? It’s simply camping with your basic amenities – kitchen, bathroom, and bedding – while still experiencing the spoils of camping – outdoors, natural surroundings, conversations by camp fire, dinner by the camp fire, roasted marshmallows, star gazing, and just chilling. There are fancier options for glamping if you’re looking for a more luxurious experience. Click on the glamping link above to learn more. Read on…
