gapmuse 2016: Year in Review [+Slideshow]

Hey gapmusers!  It’s hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of 2016! Despite the year being challenging for me on so many levels, I’m grateful that I was able to accomplish many of my goals for the year. Most importantly, I’m thankful that I’m ending it in good health.  There’s so much to celebrate and to be grateful for including being able to keep our blog alive.

Here’s a peek back at our most notable and memorable achievements in 2016:

  • Reached and inspired women in over 60 countries across the globe

It was truly an honor to see women from all over the world read, share, and follow our blog.  From the U.S, Canada, and India, to Brazil, Germany, Kenya, and more, we were inspired and empowered by your enthusiasm and support. Thank you for reminding us that we’re all bound by the same values and principles.  🙏🏾

  • Acquired more than 1,000 fans on our social media networks

Who knew that when we started this blog a few years ago, we would inspire so many to come along for the ride. As I’ve always said, I would have been proud to inspire even one woman or girl. Empowering more than 1,000 of you has been one of my greatest inspirations and accomplishments.

Here’s a sampling of our social musings on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest:

  • Your most popular post: An Unforgettable Spa Experience in Tuscany, Well Sort Of…[Pictorial Edition]. Read on…

It came as no surprise that our Tuscanesque experience at Kenwood Inn & Spa was your most favorite musing. After all, it was one of our most memorable of the year as well. It’s a hidden gem in Sonoma worthy of a visit if you’re ever in this part of the world. We’ll let the pictures tell our story.

  • Quote that inspired you the most:

Doubt knows no age or gender. At some point in our lives, we’re bound to experience some form of doubt. This wisdom from Suzy Kassem helped us remember how limiting and detrimental to our dreams and aspirations doubt can be.

So there you have it; our most notable accomplishments of 2016! What are your most memorable achievements for the year? Share with us and our readers so we too can be inspired.

Thank you for sticking with us for yet another year, gapmusers! We hope you enjoyed reminiscing with us and that you’re ending your year with as much hope and optimism for 2017 as we are.

Happy New Year to you and yours, gapmusers! We wish that all your dreams and aspirations for 2017 come true! 🙂
