gapmuse Quarterly Roundup: Grads, Milestones, Meetups & More [Q2 2014]

Is it really Summer already? Seems to me that just the other day I was getting excited about Spring! It feels like everytime I blink, it’s another season! My sister reckons that I’m just getting old so I tend to notice more. It could be or maybe we’re so busy wrapped up in our day to day lives and for some of us squeezing in what we’re passionate about that we don’t notice the time just zooming by.

Peeking back at my life and the happenings at gapmuse in the past 3 months, it’s easy to see why.

We turned one,(yay!), discovered new and beautiful places while celebrating Mother’s Day, witnessed our loved ones achieve their dreams of graduating college, found inspiration in Heather Hiles, a woman who truly embodies the meaning of paying it forward, bid farewell and paid tribute to the legendary Dr. Maya Angelou, gave a shout out to our awesome dads, and lots more.

Overall, it was not only a hectic quarter filled with life’s usual highs and lows, but also, one that left us with so much to be thankful for.

In case you missed it, here’s a roundup of our musings in April, May, and June.

Change! Ah, the mere mention of it elicits fear and a bunch of what ifs! No surprise there, though. We’re creatures of habit. Doubtful? Try changing a baby’s regular routine and see how well that goes for you. I guarantee that you’ll have one cranky little tot. Read more…
